During the Okezone 12th Anniversary, Jasa Marga Exposes the Toll Road Industrial Technology

Jakarta (03/13) - Celebrating its 12th anniversary, Okezone.com news portal has just held a Round Table Discussion entitled "Collaboration for the Nation: a 4,0 Industrial Revolution towards 5,0 society IOT" on Tuesday (03/12) in Jakarta.

Information and Technology Group Head PT Jasa Marga Tbk., Agus Sofian was invited as the keynote speaker to talk about the company's technology achievement.

Jasa Marga's digital technology in 4,0 industri, he said, is a cashless 100% system currently being developed from the tapping to the free flow system.

"We are in the middle of testing the Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology which enables cashless without tapping in Bali, collaborating with the Blue Bird taxi company," he explained.

The RFID innovation was to ease and speed toll road transactions for the sake of customer's convenience and satisfaction.

"We will apply the technology in Jakarta and Trans Java Toll Road," he continued.

Jasa Marga, through Jasa Marga Traffic Information Center (JMTIC), is presently developing a technology to analyze the road condition to improve traffic managements and prevent heavy toll road congestions.

To guarantee long-road-trips conveniences, Jasa Marga's JM Care application is able to provide the most up-to-date nearby rest area information.

"The app will also have information on parking space availability and the rest-area's tenants," he explained.

Agus Sofian is optimistic about the 4,0 industry technology.  Jasa Marga, as the toll road market leader, will keep carrying on with the innovations to benefit the nation-wide toll road users.
