Purwakarta (08/06) - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk through its business group PT Jasamarga Japek Selatan (JJS) continues the construction of the South Jakarta-Cikampek II Toll Road. As of early June 2021, the land acquisition progress of the South Jakarta-Cikampek II Toll Road Section 3 (Taman Mekar – Sadang) has reached 86.82% while the construction progress has reached 46.74%.
PT JJS Technical Director Bambang Sulistyo revealed, in building the South Jakarta-Cikampek II Toll Road from Sadang (Purwakarta Regency) to Setu (Bekasi Regency) which is integrated with the Purbaleunyi Toll Road and JORR 2 Cimanggis-Cibitung Toll Road network, the land acquisition process is prioritized on Locations are Bekasi Regency, Karawang Regency, and Purwakarta Regency (Section 2 and Section 3).
"The South Jakarta-Cikampek II Toll Road has a length of 62 Km consisting of 3 sections, namely: Section 1 starting from Jati Asih to Setu (Sta 0+000 - Sta 9+300) along 9.3 Km, entering the Bekasi City area. and Kab. Bogor. Section 2 from Setu goes to Taman Mekar (Sta 9+300 - Sta 34+150) along 24.85 Km, entering the Kab. Bekasi. As well as Section 3 from Taman Mekar to Sadang (Sta 34+150 - Sta 64+000) along 27.85 Km, entering the Kab. Karawang and Kab. Purwakarta," said Bambang.
Bambang added that cumulatively from the three sections, land acquisition for the South Jakarta-Cikampek II Toll Road reached 51.51%.
“Currently PT JJS continues to support efforts to accelerate land acquisition carried out by the Commitment Making Officer Team (PPK) of the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing in identifying land acquisition problems in the field. In addition, PT JJS also continues to coordinate with related parties to minimize obstacles so that physical development can be accelerated," Bambang added.
PT JJS also continues to coordinate with PPK for Land Procurement to facilitate the payment of Compensation Money (UGK) to the community or parties affected by the construction of this toll road, continuing to carry out the administrative process to the deliberation process.
“Section 3 (Taman Mekar – Sadang) is a big hope. We are targeting that in 2021 it can be completed from Sadang to Taman Mekar along 27.85 Km. Of course, with a note, the funding is also fully supported by the State Asset Management Institution (LMAN), especially in the midst of the current COVID-19 pandemic," concluded Bambang.
Predominantly, the South Jakarta-Cikampek II Toll Road which can decrease the travel time from Jakarta to Purwakarta has a total length of 62 Km and seven Interchanges.
If already fully operational later, the South Jakarta-Cikampek II Toll Road with an investment of Rp. 14.69 trillion and a concession period of 35 years can cut the travel time from Jakarta to Cikampek from the south side. The South Jakarta-Cikampek II Toll Road crosses 37 different villages and sub-districts in Bekasi City, Bekasi Regency, Bogor Regency, Karawang Regency, and Purwakarta Regency. Later, by connecting this toll road, it can increase mobility and reduce logistics costs for the distribution of goods from the areas that the toll road passes.
