The total volume of traffic leaving the Jabotabek area increased by 25.16% when compared to normal traffic.
For the distribution of traffic leaving Jakarta from the three directions, the majority were 183,507 vehicles heading East (52.24%), 88,533 vehicles heading West (25.20%), and 79,216 vehicles heading South (22.55%). The details of traffic distribution are as follows:
- GT Cikampek Utama 1, with a total of 95,727 vehicles leaving Jakarta, an increase of 50.79% from normal traffic.
- GT Kalihurip Utama 1, with a total of 87,780 vehicles leaving Jakarta, an increase of 41.75% from normal traffic.
The total number of vehicles leaving Jakarta to the East was 183,507 vehicles, an increase of 46.33% from normal traffic.
Traffic leaving Jakarta heading west via GT Cikupa Tangerang-Merak Toll Road is 88,533 vehicles, down 4.81% from normal traffic.
Meanwhile, the number of vehicles leaving Jakarta heading south / local via GT Ciawi 1 Jagorawi Toll Road was 79,216 vehicles, an increase of 27.31% from normal traffic.
Jasa Marga appealed to toll road users to be able to anticipate trips before entering toll roads. Ensure that vehicles and drivers are in prime condition, comply with health protocols (use masks, wash hands, keep your distance and stay away from crowds) while in the Rest Area, fill up sufficient fuel and electronic money balances, and comply with signs and directions from officers and take breaks if tired of driving.
