D-1 and H Easter Holidays, Jasa Marga Records that 343 Thousand Vehicles Has Returned to Jabotabek

Jakarta (05/04) - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk has recorded a total of 343,962 vehicles was returning to the Greater Jakarta area on D-1 and Easter holidays (April 3-4, 2021). This total is the cumulative result of traffic flow (traffic) from several Barrier / Main Toll Gates (GT), namely Cikupa GT (West direction), Ciawi GT (South direction), and Cikampek Utama GT and Kalihurip Utama GT (East direction).

The total volume of traffic returning to the Jabotabek area has increased by 23.83% when compared to normal traffic.

For the distribution of traffic to Jabotabek from the three directions, namely the majority of 185,042 vehicles from the East (53.80%), 86,899 vehicles from the West (25.26%), and 72,021 vehicles returning from the South (20.94%). The details of traffic distribution are as follows:

EAST DIRECTION
- GT Cikampek Utama 2, with a total of 96,050 vehicles heading to Jakarta, an increase of 39.44% from normal traffic.
- Kalihurip Utama 2 GT, with a total of 88,992 vehicles heading to Jakarta, an increase of 35.21% from normal traffic.
The total number of vehicles heading to Jakarta from the East was 185,042 vehicles, an increase of 37.38% from normal traffic.

WEST DIRECTION
Traffic to Jakarta heading west via GT Cikupa Tangerang-Merak Toll Road is 86,899 vehicles, up 5.18% from normal traffic.

SOUTH DIRECTION
Meanwhile, the number of vehicles heading to Jakarta from the South / Local direction via GT Ciawi 2 Jagorawi Toll Road was 72,021 vehicles, an increase of 19.16% from normal traffic.

Jasa Marga  has appealed to toll road users to be able to anticipate trips before entering toll roads. Ensure that vehicles and drivers are in prime condition, adhere to health protocols (use masks, wash hands, keep your distance and stay away from crowds) while in the Rest Area, fill up sufficient fuel and electronic money balances, and comply with signs and directions from officers and take breaks if tired of driving. Traffic information around toll roads can be accessed through the 24-hour Call Center at 14080 and the Travoy 3.0 application for iOS and Android users.
