Solo (19/06), To ensure the progress of the Yogyakarta-Bawen Toll Road construction project carried out by PT Jasamarga Jogja Bawen (JJB) which is a subsidiary of PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk, Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs (Coordinating Minister for the Economy) Airlangga Hartarto, along with the Minister of Industry Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita who was accompanied by the Head of the Toll Road Regulatory Agency (BPJT) of the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing Danang Parikesit visited the project, Saturday (19/06).
During this visit, PT JJB, represented by PGS President Director Oemi Vierta Moerdika, explained the allocation of land acquisition funding for the Yogyakarta-Bawen toll road route along with the progress of land acquisition for the Yogyakarta-Bawen toll road.
“Currently, the preparation of the Final Technical Plan (RTA) document with the target of partial RTA approval for all sections is being carried out where the closest target is Section 1 (Yogyakarta-Banyurejo). If this is achieved, we are targeting the construction of Section 1 to start in August 2021," said Oemi.
In addition, Oemi discussed efforts to accelerate the location determination (Penlok) of the Yogyakarta-Bawen toll road segment in Central Java province. He also added that PT JJB had coordinated with all relevant parties, in order to accelerate the target of Section 1 construction work.
"With the visit of the Coordinating Minister for the Economy, of course, we hope that the obstacles in the field, especially for the problem of land acquisition which is currently the main work, can be immediately found a solution with the right formula, so that the targets we set are both construction targets and operating targets from The Yogyakarta-Bawen Toll Road can be implemented according to plan," said Oemi Vierta.
During his visit, the Coordinating Minister for the Economy confirmed the progress of the development of toll roads that will pass through the two provinces, namely Central Java Province along 67.05 km and Yogyakarta Special Region along 8.77 km. The Coordinating Minister for the Economy also reviewed the needs of the implementation of the Yogyakarta-Bawen Toll Road project in the future.
Airlangga Hartanto said that the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs would fully support the process of working on the Yogyakarta-Bawen Toll Road, including encouraging the acceleration of the resolution of a number of technical and non-technical obstacles that are currently occurring.
"Surely, the most crucial homework for the Yogyakarta-Bawen Toll Road Project at this time is the need for funding allocations for land acquisition, we from the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs will coordinate with all parties involved in this project to later find solutions to obstacles to funding," added Airlangga.
Danang Parikesit also ensured that BPJT would fully support the policies taken after the visit of the Coordinating Minister for the Economy and the Minister of Industry.
"BPJT hopes that this visit can help accelerate efforts to accelerate the budget allocation for land acquisition funding, which we continue to pursue so that the construction of this toll road can proceed according to plan," said Danang.
The Yogyakarta-Bawen Toll Road has an investment value of Rp. 14.26 trillion and a concession period of 40 years and consists of 6 sections, namely:
1. Yogyakarta - SS Banyurejo (8.25 Km) 2. SS Banyurejo - SS Borobudur (15.26 Km)
3. SS Borobudur - SS Magelang (8.08 Km)
4. SS Magelang - SS Temanggung (16.64 Km)
5. SS Temanggung - SS Ambarawa (22.56 Km)
6. SS Ambarawa - Interchange (IC) Bawen (5.21 Km).
