Semarang is a part of the Trans Java toll network connecting West, East and South regions of ​Semarang. It's also an important pathway towards East Java, Yogyakarta and Solo. This Semarang tollway has been ​operational since 1983. This 24.75 km-long tollway​ has 2x2 lanes and passes through Srondol, Kaligawe and​ Manyaran.  In 2010, this tollway was widened and connected to Semarang-Solo tollway segment I which is operated by Jasa Marga's subsidiary, Central Java Trans Marga.

Transaction

Transaction

Sema​​​rang tollway applies an Open Transaction System.  In this system, the toll users directly make payments either at the entrance or exit gateway.​  

Payment​​​

Semarang tollway currently applies both the cash and non-cash transaction, ​​​where toll users can either pay cash​ according to the tariff rate displayed on the toll gate booth or merely submits KTM​ and e-toll card to the officer for transactions.​​​

Constructional Services​

This 2x2-lane Semarang tollway has gone throu​​​​gh a lot of constructional changes since it was first operated in 1983.  On April 26, 2010, the 7.5 km-long Semarang tollway Segment A (Krapyak-Jatingaleh) was officially operational.​  ​
